Wangling F4B
PTFE Laminate
Chinese PTFE laminate with Dk 2.65 and Df 0.001 at 10GHz. A proven, cost-effective alternative to imported RF substrates for 5G antenna, microwave communication, and radar applications up to 40GHz. 40-60% cost savings versus Rogers with comparable RF performance.
Why Wangling F4B?
40-60% Cost Savings
Domestic production and supply chain advantages deliver significant cost reduction versus imported Rogers and Taconic substrates.
Low Loss to 40GHz
Pure PTFE substrate with Df 0.001 at 10GHz. Proven in production across 5G antenna, satellite communication, and automotive radar builds.
Fast Availability
Domestic stock in standard thicknesses (0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0mm). No import lead time. Prototype-ready in days, not weeks.
Wangling F4B FAQs
What is Wangling F4B?
A Chinese PTFE laminate (Dk 2.65, Df 0.001 at 10GHz) manufactured by Wangling (旺灵). Widely used for RF, microwave, and 5G applications as a cost-effective alternative to Rogers.
F4B vs Rogers RO4350B
F4B has lower Dk (2.65 vs 3.48) which means wider traces at the same impedance. Rogers offers tighter Dk tolerance. For most 5G and microwave designs below 40GHz, F4B performs equivalently at 40-60% lower cost.
Can F4B be used in hybrid stackups?
Yes. F4B bonds well with standard FR-4 prepreg in hybrid configurations. PTFE surface treatment (sodium etch or plasma) ensures adhesion. We process hybrid F4B/FR-4 stackups routinely.
